Next, I flew out to San Diego for the Servant Leadership Conference. My good friend John Maxwell was there and got to spend two days learning leadership from several phenomenal leaders. For the past year I have been on a leadership journey you might say. As a John Maxwell coach, I have immersed myself in leadership training.
Speaking of John Maxwell (who is the #1 leadership expert in the world and has sold over 20 million books), I got to watch the Super Bowl with him at his house! What a treat. There were only about 20 people there and one of them was my all time favorite singer in the world! Australian worship leader Darlene Zschech! It has been my dream to meet her for many years. Her and her husband Mark spent a lot of time with my wife and I. They are lovely people. Wow, what a night!
The next day, John Maxwell’s dream came true. Over the past 16 years, his non-profit EQUIP has trained 5 million leaders worldwide. For the first time ever, he brought 130 country coordinators from around the world to be together for the launch of the next phase – transforming culture in their countries. Darlene and her band led worship EVERY DAY, and Dan Cathey, CEO of Chick-Filet spoke as well as Bill Hybels. The work that these leaders are doing around the world is truly inspiring.
That was in West Palm Beach, so I got to spend some time with one of my coaching clients John Torres who has used my system to grow his business by OVER $1 MILLION in the past 12 months! He will be at my May conference to share how he did it. It will be a “closed door” session, not open to his competitors.
My coaching members are having RECORD SALES and PROFITS. Our system is really working. It is very exciting. So, I got back from Florida and left for Atlanta the next day to do a full day coaching session with one of my top clients who has a diploma framing company. We put together a plan where she can double her business over the next twelve months as well.
So, I am finally home for a couple of days, but I’ll be in Pensacola, FL for a one day training with my good friend and fellow John Maxwell trainer Mary Riesberg.
