3 Things You Need to Reach Your Phenomenal Dream in 2013

My recent trip to Australia represented two dreams I had. One was training for the Zig Ziglar Corporation. What an honor and a privilege! Another was to see The Great Barrier Reef. After doing a 5 city training tour for Ziglar in Australia, I spent 4 days on this little island.

I have been blessed to reach many goals and dreams in life and in business including building phenomenal businesses, being blessed with phenomenal relationships, having a relationship with a phenomenal God and getting in phenomenal shape. I got healthy and stayed healthy. I learned how to make money and kept making money. I started following God and continue to follow Him.

Here are 3 things that are vital to reaching your dream…

1. A Phenomenal Dream – a dream is an inspiring picture of the future that inspires your mind, will and emotion that empowers you to do everything you can to achieve it. Get some images of your dream on a Vision Board and visualize yourself living your dream EVERY DAY.

 2. SMART GOALS! – you must have specific, measurable, attainable, realistic goals. Your dream is the impossible, but your goals must be realistic. You need short term goals and long term goals and they must be in writing and where you can see them EVERY DAY.

GOALS! stands for Goals, Organization, Action, Learning and Systems. Get clear on your goals, get focused and organized EVERY DAY, take Action EVERY DAY, learn from the action to took and the things that happen. Ask yourself this question “What did I learn?” What worked and what didn’t? Put everything that worked into SYSTEM. And stay inspired by getting support from those that want you to reach your dream.

 3. Phenomenal Support – Every phenomenally successful athlete, business owner, or highly successful person has a DREAM TEAM of supporters. That may included staff, vendors, family and your faith community, but a vital factor is your mentors, coaches and consultants.

The lack of encouragement and accountability is the #1 reason we don’t consistently implement assuming we truly want our goals. We all need these people in our lives. I am so grateful for my family, community of faith, my staff and for the mentors, coaches and consultants that have helped me reach my dreams and that continue to help me realize more of them.

Dream the phenomenal dream. Set some goals. Take action everyday and to make sure you do that, get support.
