I just got back from a GREAT trip to Austin. My wife and I attended the “Get Motivated” Event that is put on by Peter and Tamara Lowe. This is an incredible event drawing thousands of people. This one had about 12,000 in attendance. I have been to some that were over 20,000 people.

I was invited backstage to be with the Ziglars (thanks Julie!) and I got to meet “The Redhead” (Jean) for the first time.

I also got to meet Chris Howard from Howard Publishing who is publishing Zig’s newest book “Embrace the Struggle” that tells about the aftermath of his fall.

And finally, I met Peter and Tamara Lowe. My hat is off to them for putting on such a great show AND sharing the Gospel of Christ in a seminar setting! I love it!

Other speakers included Rudy Guiliani and Colin Powell.

But the BEST part was spending two days with my wife. We spent some time at the San Marcos Outlet Mall which is one of the nicest and largest in the country. My brother lives in Austin so we were able to stay with him and have a wonderful dinner with him and his family.
